As the new year kicks off, many of us are looking to improve ourselves with new goals or resolutions. A couple of years ago, I was in the same mode of improvement. I was fortunate to be accepted into the Big Brothers Big Sisters family. Since joining BBBS, I have been a big brother to Will.
Will is in 7th grade and hopes to play basketball at UCLA when he goes to college. I’m trying to make him a Jayhawk, fingers crossed. We have had many adventures together that have helped us grow both as individuals and in our relationship. We recently visited the GloWild Festival at the Kansas City Zoo.
