When it comes to investing, time is your best friend. In the short term, there will be ups and downs. But over time, the volatility smooths out and starts to look like small bumps.
For the first time in my life, I’m planning for the long term, at least when it comes to love. I recently got engaged to my very own best friend and fiancé, Megan. As we began planning our wedding, and the rest of our lives together, I started thinking about what was next. There are sure to be stresses that seem big now, like wedding planning, but those will fade with time and be replaced with fond memories we’ve built together. Now for the details for all you romantics!
Megan and I met by chance on a rainy night in Kansas City. I was selling parking spaces at my building for the Michael Bublé concert, and she thought I was a homeless person. Luckily, our friends connected us, and we have been inseparable since. Everything came full circle when I proposed to her on a beach in Hawaii. Funny enough, the locals call the beach, “Hobo Beach,” bringing us back to that first encounter. I can’t wait to start creating even more moments, funny stories and amazing memories with Megan.
